I have the honour to refer to your letter

La No.13856/33 of the 18th November on the subject of dredging

in the vicinity of the Hong Kong and Kowloon Wharf and

Godown Company's piers.

In compliance with your instructions, tenders

were invited from three firms, but only two tenders have

been received. We enclose, for the information of the

Secretary of State, a copy of a letter of to-day's date

which we are forwarding by air mail to the Colonial

Secretary, Hong Kong.
